Great shoes for hiking on dirt trails and some rocks. Ok on rocks if you have strong ankle. Love these shoes!

So far I'm still breaking it in. It feels a bit stiff and it's hard to tighten up the laces because of it. it feels a bit wide. I need a thick sock right now. I feel though once I break it in a bit I'll be able to tie it tighter. All in all it's comfortable and with the sale price of what I paid how could you go wrong.

Love these shoes! As others state they are stiff, but they are a hiker, not a casual street shoe. I don't like the high ankles of a true hiking boot for day hikes or short back-packs, so these are perfect; decent traction, solid support, stiff soles and very durable. My last pair is going on 3 years of life for day hikes, and I grabbed another so I wouldn't be distraught trying to find another pair when they die. They take a short break-in but well worth the effort.

The shoes fit great and are good looking too. I am going to use them on a cruise to Alaska in May. I am sure they will keep my feet dry. Very impressed.

Even with winter weight thick socks these boots were way too big. Hard to judge other characteristics because of it. Order a full size smaller.

A little stiff out of the box, but they broke in quickly. I noticed a little less traction compared to running shoes, but they keep my feet warm and dry.

I returned these after just a few laps around the living room. Way too stiff!!! I couldn't even make the shoes flex with my arms. The blisters I would have suffered were not worth the low price of these shoes. Was planning on using them for work. They seems to have decent traction, but a little noisy as I walked on hard wood floor.
