“Love these shoes! As others state they are stiff, but they are a hiker, not a casual street shoe. I don't like the high ankles of a true hiking boot for day hikes or short back-packs, so these are perfect; decent traction, solid support, stiff soles and very durable. My last pair is going on 3 years of life for day hikes, and I grabbed another so I wouldn't be distraught trying to find another pair when they die. They take a short break-in but well worth the effort.”
