This is my 3rd pair of this model shoe. The soles on this model have lasted me over 2 years of heavy duty walking. I am a NYer and world traveler. These babies have gone the mile trust me. The could be a little more comfortable yet maybe the durability would lack. They run a little small so order the next size up. Not much else to say other than if you want a low cut hiker Garmont and this model will do you justice. The price on STP was amazing. It was a no brainer purchase for me.

very comfortable, I walk 2 miles every day rain or shine. I like the fit on Garmonts (roomy in toes - snug heel, flexible) These are sturdier and heavier than trail runners.

I am super stoked about these shoes! Garmont has my foot figured out. They are roomy enough for my foot to move without restriction yet provide more than ample support when needed. The footbed and sole are wide enough to provide stability on all variable and uneven terrain yet supple enough to cusion my step on the hardpack. I like the toe protection and it seems as though the rand and the body of the shoe are durable enough to handle some serious abuse. The stitching is tight and even. If they perform halfway as good as my last pair of Garmonts I will be thrilled!

nice boots, and I don't want to send them back, but they do feel a bit wide, a bit large for the average "D" width foot.

This is my first Garmont shoe and I have been very pleased with this purchase. I read many positive reviews and decided to try them. Although it hasn't snowed yet, there have been plenty of wet and muddy trails to try them out. They are as comfortable as I hoped they would be. They are flexible like a shoe. They seem durable and they look good. I would recommend these and will likely try another pair of Garmont shoes / boots.

I have never owned a pair of Garmont shoes before this pair, but I must say these are some of the most (maybe THE most) comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I just got them recently, so I can't attest to their durability (though they seem very well made), but I have done some trail running in them, and they are extremely comfortable, stable, and water proof.
