“The last 2 pairs of sneakers I bought were 9's but I've been an 8 1/2 for the last 25 years-so maybe my foot has grown but these in a 28 are a good snug fit, although the liners haven't been heat molded yet. I had to take them off because of the pain the first day with my normal liners/thick ski sock combo, but they were ok the next day with just the polypro liner. I expect an almost perfect fit with the thick socks after heat molding. my foot is wide, at least EE and EEE is better, EEEE is too wide. The pain was due to the width not the length of the boot. They skiid well and look great, I am not impressed with the buckle construction, for a $700 pair of boots. They seem too light (like cheap) and don't adjust well, like I'm stripping the threads of the micro adjustment-I can only get about 3or 4 turns of adjustment, maybe 3/16-1/8" of adjustment. The walk/lean lock system works well. The rubber "hiking" sole and plastic DIN sole work well, although the instruction warn of overtightening in plastic so I am wary of durability here but will just heli coil them if they prove troublesome. Overall a great deal on a boot that has good reviews online.”
