Garmont Ener-G Telemark Ski Boots with G-Fit Liner (For Men)

Ordered based on the review that said it was accurate for a size 11. Well, I am dead-on size 12 in Dansko clogs, Scarpa T2's, White's hand made boots, and New Balance tennis shoes... these size "29" are easily a size too small.

Great boot! I have been skiing the Squadra (old version of this) for 6-7 years and finally updated to the Ener-G. I demoed boots from other manufacturers and nothing compared to this. The thermofit liner allows for a tight but all day comfortable fit. this boot is for aggressive skiers.

I have been telemark skiing for 23 year and have never had the control that I have with these boots. Granted I have only skied on them for 4 days at Crystal but they have been incredible. We received over 48 inches of NW powder and these boots helped me power my BD Havocs through it like butter. Tight mogul chutes were as easy to negotiate a telly turn as on the groomers. They transfer all your power right into the ski so much more that my old Gars. Truly an incredible boot. I have a size 11 foot and fit comfortable in the 28. I was contemplating a new ski but with these boots I feel I can handle most anything and probable some things I shouldn't. This is definitely a boot to buy.

Haven't tried these boots on the mountain as out of season here in OZ, [...]. Fit is great and much improved on my 12 year scarpa's. Looking forward to testing them out in anger. These boots look great which is a bonus too!

Don't plan to use these right out of the box. Do an internet search on "telemark boot fitting" before doing anything to make sure you do everything right. It took me a couple of hours at home to get the initial fitting and insole molding completed, then at least half a day skiing to fine tune the boots to my skis and skiing style...but all of that is well worth it once everything is dialed in. I plan to use these for many years.

Great adjustability. Very comfortable once the liners are cooked. Solid construction. Heavy-- they are a bear on the uphill skin.

These boots feel great on my feet. I was worried about the 6th toe area but after baking my liners I haven't even felt that area. I would have given them 5 stars but the liners have a weak lacing system. I've skied with out tying the liners and there was not even a noticeable difference.(not a big deal I guess).

Helping me take my Tele to the next level. Comfort,fit,control. These bad boys will drive the fatest of the fat but are lite enough for tours as well. Plus-they look cool!
