“I have worn these shoes for work (as a mail carrier) and they are comfortable and waterproof. An added bonus was that they are very warm, not so they overheat your feet in warmer temps but they seem to regulate well due to the lining. It looks to be made of the same metallic type material that is used on cold weather gear to reflect back your own body heat. I wore these all day with temps -12 with a toe warmer and my feet stayed toasty walking through snow! I even chose these over my 1000g insulated boots! They are lightweight and have a roomy toe box. Only negatives for me was the height of the ankle, it is more like a shoe than a typical mid height hiking boot and the sole is rather flat and slippery. I have read that they fall apart where the toe bumper attaches but have not had them long enough to experience that.”
