Closeouts. Think of Garmont's Hi-Ride ski boot with pad-lock liner as an all-purpose ski tool: uses include ski mountaineering, free-riding, off-piste action, and general ski touring. Multi-injected Pebax® and polyurethane shell is tough and has just the right amount of flex.
19- and 24-degree forward lean positions plus walking mode
Gender-specific PadLock foam liner for warmth and support
These are my primary snowboarding boots which replaced several pair of DynaFit TourLite 2. Looked at the Hi-Ride, Mega-Ride, G-Ride, Argon, etc. Although the Hi-Ride is the most "recreational" model in their line-up, it is one. If you don't need DynaFit binding compatability, this is the boot for you. I've been using AT boots for over 25 years and it is interesting to see how a good 40% of skiers have finally discovered the advantage of AT over downhill boots/bindings. And the black color is a HUGE plus in my opinion!

Bought on sale at STP with Garmont G Fit High liner to replace my stock Garmont G Ride boots. Screaming deal and I cannot tell any difference in performance. Black color is more appealing and small change to buckle material but put that down to evolution. Do not be deterred by the clown who bought the wrong size and sumitted a review above.

These look like wonderful boots but since they are at least a full size too small I can't properly rate them. I normally wear a 7 in mens; ordered an 8 to be on the safe side. I can't even get my foot into these!!

Great boot at a great price. I use this for resort and back country day trips in Sierra's. I also purchased the Pure Freeride Carbon binding [...]and they work great together. I ski this with a BD Mura.
