“someone came up with a shoe like this! I live in Alaska, where the surfaces I run upon are frozen over for several months of the year. I have tried running with various cleats and grippers that slip onto my regular running shoes. I have even screwed machine screws into the soles of my shoes trying to improve traction. These Icebugs are outstanding. They allow me to run on icy roads, frozen trails, even frozen puddles and overflow with utter confidence. I have not been this happy with a new pair of shoes in I don't know how long. I cannot attest to durability, as I've only had them a couple of weeks. I have done a 10-mile and a 12-mile run in them, and they have remained comfortable for the long haul.”
