“I have only hiked 4 times in these boots but from owning another pair of Garmont boots I expect that the soles will wear very slowly. I hike in rocky environment and other boots all have worn out quickly. The only drawback is that they are not water proof. Although I use them in the desert, we often have swollen creeks to cross.”
