Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“Heard great things about these boots and for good reason. They are very light and although they have more flex than some of the other AT offerings it's isn't so soft that it would be bothersome. That flex would translate into a much more comfy climb and the higher you climb the longer the run! Now the bad... I don't consider myself to have very wide feet but these things are crushers. The fore foot area is very narrow as is the toe box. I tried these on in the house and I had to take them off after 3-4 min. I called Garmont to ask them about it and they told me that it was one of the more narrow boots they sold and because of that a lot of people couldn't get them to fit. So... if you have a narrow foot go for it, you won't be disappointed. If you have an average to wide foot look elsewhere. I am sending mine back.”
