    Pros:
Adjustability, Comfortable, Good Traction, Quality Construction
    Best Uses:
All Mountain, Alpine Touring Randonee´, Downhill
    Width:
    Feels true to width
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
For reference: I wear an 8 in the wm's Garmont sticky cat (I could be 8.5 but like approach shoes that fit close) & 39.5 La sportiva Batura boots. Street shoe size: sometimes an 8, somtimes 8.5. In the Megastars, I'm a 26.0. Had to return the 25.5's. Inner liners are very toasty in 20ºF range. Because I've decided that the 26.0 MegaStars are keepers, I will be getting the liners heat molded by a professional boot fitter. Inner liners have lace holes & boots come w/ laces. These boot shells are super adjustable. All the buckle latches have micro adjusters (just twist). On the ankle buckles, the thing w/ the metal grooves/teeth for latching is held on w/ a nut & bolt & can be moved w/ an Allen wrench if you are much much larger smaller in the calf (or in my case, cankles! yikes). So far I've only used these in alpine bindings thus far (gotta $ave up for Dynafits) & they did just fine. When I fell hard, the rubber sole did not interfere w/ binding release. My previous boots were down hill & it didn't matter if part of my long underwear was tucked in... however, in the megastars, long underwear partially in the boot caused way too much constriction... so I just rolled my long underwear up (or you can buy shortie boot cut ones - never knew it'd make a difference until the megastars). All in all, given the dealflyer discounts, these boots were a **tremendously** great deal. I also read elsewhere that someone was able to skin up & ice climb in these! Haven't tried that yet but they are not much less comfortable than my ice climbing boots. Look fwd to giving it a try. I may have to get an extender bar for my crampons if I do so. Ski to climb? Climb to ski?

These boots fit me really well, aren't too heavy, have a great buckle system, and are comfortable to wear when touring all day and doing multiple laps. I decided to pay a little more after these were recommended to me and I'll never go back to my old boots. I love these boots.

I live in Aspen, Co and am using these boots to hike up the ski hills and backcountry, ski powder and all terrain. They are great from the first day. Extremely comfortable and light weight and yet stable. As for the sizing, I am a ladies size 8 and usually a 24.5 in most boots, in these I had to send them back and get the 25.0 which were a perfect fit so you may want to try a .5 size up than usual. However the exchange experience was fast and easy with this company so don't worry about this if it comes to it. I'd recommend these boots anytime!
