“So far, so good”

“I bought these shoes to do light hiking/walking with my baby (strapped to the front of me) on the trails that we used to mountain bike on. I also wanted to use these shoes for trail running. So far this shoe has been great ON the trails. I love how stiff the sole is for running and hiking. They handle rocks very well. The only complaint I have is that they make my foot numb when I'm driving or just hanging out and I can't figure out why this happens... they feel great when I'm moving. I have a wide foot and a high arch - I don't feel any odd pressure points in them, so I don't understand the numbness. I've just learned to suck it up on the drive to the trails and/or wear another pair of shoes. I wouldn't wear the shoes for everyday use because of the numbness. Overall, it's a great shoe for trail running and light hiking (1-2 hours) and you can't beat the price. Oh yeah - they look pretty cool, too :)”
