    I bought these to replace an old, well-worn pair of Garmont approach shoes. I haven't had these new ones long, but they look and feel good. If they last as long as the previous pair, I will be very happy. I feel I got a really good value for the price. The only negative I can think of is the soles aren't Vibram.

    these were so narrow I exchanged the woman's for a man's size and they are still a little narrow, when first put on you'll think you won't like them, but you will. The only thing I don't like is the narrowness makes them a little unstable to hike in, walking on smooth paths is ok
