    I bought these shoes for my husband. When he first tried them on, he said these shoes were extremely comfortable. We went on a 6.5 mile hike on a local mountain and before we finished the hike, he had 2 blisters on each of his heels. After letting them heal for 2 weeks, he tried a 4 mile hike with sock liners and no blisters this time. For him, he had a break-in period, but the shoes seem fine now.

    Just the shoe for running errands or a couple of mile stroll in the park. Don't think I'd head off to the AT with a 35 pound pack in these shoes but anything short of that, they'd be fine. The waterproofing only goes so far (they're shoes not boots) but they offer good support and they're not green and purple or some other hideous color combination, just a nice unassuming tan.
