    the boots arrived and we left for vacation, in the Ozark mountains.My husband put them on , out of the box, and we hit the trails.His only complaint is the laces, they are stiff, don't stay tied, hard to get in the hooks, but...they got easier to lace after time and wear.The boots were great in the mud, snow, mountain terrain.He is very pleased with them.Best pair of boots he's ever had!

    This is an excellent hiking boot when you need more than a runners-style, all-terrain shoe, but less than a heavy boot. It is very light, but offers good support. The hi-tech features are not gimmicky, but rather really work: i.e, uneven lacing system, tongue padded more on one side, and asymmetrical heel cup, all of which make the boot very comfortable. I'm very pleased.

    So far it is a good, lightweight boot. Break-in time has been short, but I have no problems with the fit. The shank is stiff and the arch support is awesome. No time with heavy load or water yet to truly test the boots.
