Quality boot at a great price

So far it is a good, lightweight boot. Break-in time has been short, but I have no problems with the fit. The shank is stiff and the arch support is awesome. No time with heavy load or water yet to truly test the boots.

This is an excellent hiking boot when you need more than a runners-style, all-terrain shoe, but less than a heavy boot. It is very light, but offers good support. The hi-tech features are not gimmicky, but rather really work: i.e, uneven lacing system, tongue padded more on one side, and asymmetrical heel cup, all of which make the boot very comfortable. I'm very pleased.

the boots arrived and we left for vacation, in the Ozark mountains.My husband put them on , out of the box, and we hit the trails.His only complaint is the laces, they are stiff, don't stay tied, hard to get in the hooks, but...they got easier to lace after time and wear.The boots were great in the mud, snow, mountain terrain.He is very pleased with them.Best pair of boots he's ever had!

This boot is surprisingly light for its size. Comfortable right out of the box with very good stability. The asymmetrical laces allow you to cinch the boot extra tight where needed without deforming the leather. Great for trail hiking and quickly becoming my favorite all around boot. Sharp looking as well!

I live in northwest Indiana, so my hiking is moderate at best due to the terrain I have to hike. These boots feel real stable in loose sandy soil as well as mud. We are on the brink of winter, so I can not tell how warm yet, but if they are as good as the Garmount boots they replaced they should be warm.
