“Bought these to wear on my April week long trip to Yosemite. These are my first pair of "real" hiking boots, so I think I was a bit over-sensitive when trying these out. At first they were stiff and irritated my ankles, however, this was when trying to break them in around the house. They are actually much more comfortable on the trail. Bottom line, great-looking and very sturdy boots. Waterproof (I happily splashed around in puddles and my feet remained warm and dry)with very solid ankle support. I would just recommend giving yourself a good amount of time to break them in and expect a bit of discomfort in the process. Awesome deal!”
