Bottom Line:

“Purchased a pair of these along with the Broad Peaks. Thought I'd keep one pair, return the other. Bad plan. I'm keeping both. The Garmont boots have similar fit, may be a miniscule bit wider. They are stiff and crampon-compat.--but flex a bit more and are not as heavily constructed as the BP--though they weigh the same. I like the Garmont's simple lacing system. They're sturdy and well-built. They are a good off-trail boot where there are lots of outcrops, and the simple lacing system is easy to snug-up for a stable fit. The Asolo BP seem better for real climbing, with greater ankle stability/crampon use.”
