Great boot. Size is true and not as narrow as the Scarpa. G Fit Liners are sweet.

Can't get the boot all the way on. Went with Womens' boot to accommodate larger/lower calves but this one isn't good enough and power strap is not long enough. The heel area is very uncomfortable when boot is (almost) fully strapped. Sure wish it allowed for larger calves.

I have only used these one time so far, however I experienced absolutely No "new boot pain" (I pulled out the footbeds to allow room whilst packing the liners) After wearing the Garmont Gara for the past 7-8 yrs, I thought I would need to adjust for the lower cuff height of the Venus. Not so! Also, the Venus was easier to get in & out of - especially if the liner was pulled out & laced up on the foot and then step into the shell. Everyone has different feet & prefer the fit/performance of certain brands. That is why I always suggest that one demos different boots before they buy; one that fits and works for me won't for someone else.

This boot is just what I expected. It has an ideal flex and stiffness for both touring and carving some turns. The thermo-moldable liner is a great bonus. My feet are a little on the wider side with high insteps, so I have a hard time fitting into most ski boots, but this one feels great. In general, Garmont tends to fit a wider/higher-volume foot than Scarpa.

Really tight for my high arches. It made a huge difference after I had a ski shop mold the liners. Good control, good boot. My boyfriend gave me these boots as a "promise ring". Now I just need some new skis and . . .
