I'm a pear shape verging on hourglass (35" bust, 27" waist, 40" hips) and I generally try to draw attention to my smaller upper body rather than letting my hips speak for the company. Therefore, this voluminous top was a fashion experiment: it draws attention, and how, but shrouds the smallness. But as it turns out, the drape is nice and in size S the top wasn't unmanageably voluminous; some contours did show through, and the gathered waist prevented it from getting stuck on my hips and becoming a tent. I wore it with dark pencil jeans and was pleased overall, though it did require the occasional readjustment to keep the neckline and sleeves draping correctly. I don't care for the zipper shoulders--too trendy--but I can live with them.
