I will use these tires as replacements on my Trek Wahoo Mountain Bike. I already tested one to make sure it would fit and work and no problems. I did not experience any difficulty that another user reported about getting this tire on the rim/wheel.

Who has 26" wheel mountain bikes any more? Me. Nice 23 yr old Trek Y. Anyway, the tire works. It's round, 26", has good tread. This is not a lightweight tire, so if you're going for minimum weight, look elsewhere. If you need a strong tire, look here.
I have no opinion on what kind of terrain the tread is best for.

Buy these tires at your own risk they very difficult to mount. I bought these to be my fall/winter mud/light snow tires but, I can not give a review as to their performance because I have spent the time I should be riding them trying to mount them on my Bontrager rims. I have used Geax tires before, the AKA model and yes they were somewhat difficult to mount but these are like trying to hand mount a car tire. It took me roughly an hour just get the thing on the rim. The quality is good and I hope to enjoy riding them soon, but there is major downside to these tires. Now to rest my sore and blistered hands so I can give the other tire a go tomorrow. Wish me luck.
