I love this necklace. I bought several, 2 for gifts and 1 for myself. The stones are neutral in color but work well with my yellowish skintone and my wardrobe full of neutrals and pinks. It definitely falls lower than 18" but it works. The rows of stones do overlap one another but it looks fine. I would imagine that over time the clasp's sheen will dull and the stones might do the same but for now it's really pretty and for the price, so worth the purchase. It's a fun piece to wear for awhile.
