These shoes are far more sturdy and comfortable than any heels I have seen before. They are made of quality materials with an element of luxury. Soft leather, beautiful shape and color. Sadly, they are a bit too big for my (very difficult to fit) feet and I must return them.

Yes, the finish was different--mottled shades of brown with gold(or copper?), but I loved it. It was edgy, different, fun. The deerskin insole was soft and cushy. The heel was a sculptural beauty (notice how completely the profile changes back-to-side). I loved these shoes until I put them on:despite a rather round and stubby toe contour, my toes felt inexplicably cramped; the instep was cut too shallow, cutting into the top of my foot, and after wearing for 10 minutes around the house, the top of my big toe was red and sore. And BTW, those 10 minutes were an exercise in weird walking--I can't explain it by looking at these shoes, but I couldn't walk normally. I'm very unhappy that I will have to return them.

Beautiful heels at a great price. The insoles are super comfortable too!

I agree with previous comments that the refined shaping of the stacked heel, good insole cushioning, and unusual mixed/ crackle leather put this shoe above the pack. However, I also agree with the weird-walking comments. Straight out of the box, I couldn't keep my heel in these shoes while walking, and the way the toes and length fit, I am sure I could not go down a half size. I noticed that the lower part of the heel cup is VERY wide. I have a wide toebox and high arch but a narrow heel, so this is not great for me. I still think I can make these work for in-office use with some heel grabber fit adjusters. I would never use a heel this high for my train commute anyway-- they'd be in my bag on the way there, and I'd hope the day was not too busy as far as running around.

Color is a little different ,with a slight metallic hue. Very classy.
