Reviewed by DuoMom from SF Bay Area on Thursday, May 16, 2013Very nice-looking and comfrtable clog. It is not often Gentle Souls brand is on sale, so I got the clog in both black and brown. It is very comfortable and stable, the heel is not too high. The inside of the shoe is very soft and well-padded. My foot is on the wide side, and the toe box is generous, despite the "pointy" style. I wore the shoes all day and did not experience any problems. A few people commented the heel was slippery, and it is somewhat true, although nothing too bad; but perhaps it would be a good idea to go for a rubber heel cap. I recommend going 1/2 size up when you order. My shoe size is 9, but with platform sandals and mules, I found it best to have a little space left for your heel, as your foot slides down.

Reviewed by uptown girl naturalist from Maryland on Wednesday, May 15, 2013Such a functionally accommodating ballet flat, and high quality materials and craftmanship...I had high hopes for this one....the wider toe box (which I need...usually am uncomfortable in the more snug-toed ballet flats) led to gapping on the sides when I flexed my feet. Probably just a result of the shape of my feet...slim instep with wider metatarsals...sorry that I had to send these back...

Reviewed by Cali Girl from California on Friday, May 10, 2013Really beautiful sandal. Sleek, simple design, gorgeous leather detailing, nicely padded. I am mostly a 7.5, occasionally a 7. I got a 7 as I know this brand tends to run a half size large. The footbed and ankle straps fit perfectly, but the front strap across the toes and forefoot was too tight. I could not have sized up, as the footbed would have been too long. I needed a walking sandal for shopping and sightseeing and these were just not comfortable enough for that. Sadly, they have to go back.
