I ordered them but when they arrived they were way to big. I had no choice but to send them back. Sierra charged me shopping both ways. I won't take the risk again.

I refers to " a breathing insole" or something like that. Well I gave insole a regullar mark since I do not have any feet sweating problem an as a senior I value highly a really soft shoes mainly the insole. And as I described before, wasn´t as soft as expected at least the ones I bought.

There are small holes in the soles for the breathing thing, I have worn then in rainy weather with no leaks (Ok it's desert rainy weather) but I haven't walked in standing water or puddles so I can't say if it would leak or not under a more wet situation.

A lot of the reviews said they ran large, so I ordered a size smaller than i normally do and it was too small. Went with my normal sizing and it was just right.

But based on the glowing reviews I snapped them up without a thought. The insole needs to be replaced right out of the box. It's hard as rock and has no cushion whatsoever. At least since they were cheap, getting comfortable replacement insoles wasn't such a problem. But those that came with the shoes are terrible on the balls of the feet. Otherwise these look very nice, solid construction and fit well.
