    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bike to work daily and have always chosen Pearl Izumi products but chose this one as STP didn't currently have P.I. The front waist of these shorts dips down and feels very uncomfortable. Also, after just two rides, there was very visible wear in the seat. I wouldn't chose them again.

    Looking to get a quality pair of shorts for long 30-50 mile rides that keep me comfy through the whole ride. The day after getting the shorts I went out for a 30 mile ride and they felt great!

    Been training for this years RAGBRAI (500 miles so far) and found these cycling shorts to fit and wear well (on a 5'11" 170 frame). Just had to order a second pair of these so I have another pair of them for the ride. Good amount of padding and they have a lower waist line than some of the other brands which want to fit halfway up one's back. They don't have any pockets so I figure I'll just keep my gum in a pannier.
