Ordered red. It's faded, more like pink. I could look past that for the price. However one major design flaw is that the straps don't adjust, which is a shame, because the fit in the head was great and the back of the helmet suspension/ fitting system seems well made. While the visor can be taken off, it's not easy. Also, there is a little plastic screw in the helmet front and center which looks unsightly when you remove the visor. It's going back. The biggest problem is that the straps don't adjust.

Helmet is very light and fits comfortably on my head. I ordered the matte black color, which looks very clean. The padding inside is a bit thin, and I've noticed some indentation marks on my forehead. The visor adjusts up and down smoothly. Straps are easy to adjust, and I don't hear any whistling when I ride. Haven't had the chance to test the durability of the helmet (i.e., crash), but I feel safe and stylish with this on!

Lightweight, and easily adjustable. Didn't plan it, but it matches my Specialized bike perfectly (matte black/pink)! Now just waiting for spring to actually use it!

Good basic helmet. Like the visor. Very "feathery," lightweight and pads are not super plush, very thin, but comfy. Also, if your head is exactly in between a small and medium Giro - get small

I have a small head and bought the small, in White, and it fit great. It just bubbled UP to high. The sides were quite sleek but everything trimmed off the side got stacked on top. I tried to like it but when I looked in the mirror I just burst out laughing! Maybe a darker color would of been better. Would think this would be good for winter riding, for the warmth factor, since there is not much ventilation and more head coverage.

    Light, comfortable, and good coverage
Too bad it only can take one crash to the head
Only paid 35$, worth one good crash

First off you would pay more for a fitted baseball cap. If you have experienced the differance between a fitted cap and a non, then you know the differance in comfort level..this feature or feather helmet fits like a fitted hat. I have 3 helmets, my wife has 2, no need to brow beat those helmets, but they will all now be back ups to the giro. I am a helmet geek I have looked at and reviewed all helmets. The number 1 thing that eliminates one helmet from another is the strap location...straps must be attached to the out side rim of the helmet not coming from inside the helmet, if they come from inside the helmet they now interfere with you. A helmet is there to be seen and function not be in the way .if straps come out of the inside of the helmet they are in the way of can now eliminate 3/4 of all helmets. This narrow you choices down duramatically. Even Troy lees famous helmet has the back triangle strap comming from inside helmet. Now they route the strap behind the adjustment to keep it out of the way But come onTroy lee .put the straps on the outside of shell..I believe with all my pet peeves about helmets. That the giro feature or feather is the best bang for the buck, even at full price.
