Helmet fits fine, and doesn't look too big (important to my wife). Though it is adjusted to the max, with ho room for a hat. She doesn't want to use the sound system, so have no idea how that sounds. Too bad it can't be removed, or else I would use it in my helmet. It is also not so great that the liner and ear flaps are not removable. They are in my Giro Chapter, which makes it much easier to wash out, as well as more comfortable in warmer weather.

Great helmet except for one issue: The goggle retention clip on the back does not snap shut. It's held in place by tension. If your goggle slips over the top of the helmet while walking, it can...and will fall off. During a season, my goggles fall off at least a dozen times. Generally someone tell me 'hey you dropped your goggles', but I have lost two pairs so far. Replacing my helmet because of it. Otherwise, it's a good helmet. Sucks to replace the helmet for such a simple oversight on Giro's part.

Not a bad helmet, but did not like the comfort and sound quality for the [$] price. The fit was fine and was not uncomfortable, but for >$100 price I was expecting more. My $30 helmet is more comfortable. Audio: My $10 ear buds have better sound quality. That may be because they are right in the ear, but for >$100 the sound quality should be improved.

Terrific helmet - easy to adjust to a perfect fit. SkullCandy audio is built right into the earpads, making them incredibly comfortable. The wired remote controls iPod/iPhone perfectly and is easy to use w/ gloves on. Best part is that you can still hear what's going on around you while listening to music. Really can ask for much more in a helmet.

My husband and I used this helmet and have enjoyed our skiing adventures with it. Made our skiing feel like dancing with the music.

Giro makes nice helmets, this is true. This helmet's draw was the cell phone hook up. With my LG phone, I can hear fine (a bit of echo) but the microphone is not working w/ my LG. Also the cell function button does not work to answer the calls. I would caution any one to buy this helmet if they want to use it for the phone hook up.

I'm writing in furtherance of my earlier review of the Giro Omen Audio helmet to say that it's everything I'd thought and hoped it would be. I wore this helmet 5-6 hours a day, everyday for a week of downhill skiing in NH. Surprisingly, just about everyone on the slopes was wearing some sort of brain bucket. A few years ago, that wasn't the case, but times have changed and helmets have become essential gear on the slopes, like gloves and boots. Of the brain buckets I saw, the Giro Omen was by far the coolest looking helmet w/ the most venting. This is my first experience wearing a helmet to ski. After a few minutes of wear, I forgot I had it on; it was that comfortable. My peripheral vision was not obstructed, nor did the helmet interfere with the placement of goggles on my face. The SkullCandy audio system paired w/ my iPod shuffle sounded great and didn't cut in and out. SkullCandy should make a quick disconnect for the audio cord, in case the wire is pulled or you need to remove your helmet, but other than that, I had no issues with the helmet or the audio system.

Helmet works wonderful, not a single thing to complain about. If there was anything on it that was 100% perfect I feel that the ear covers get itchy or scratchy after a full day riding which doesn't even matter since by the next morning it is soft and comfortable again.

The sound quality of this helmet is very good. However the added bulk from the speakers causes some additional pressure from the earpads and slight irritation over time. The connection for an ipod worked very well including a convenient volume control however, of the cell phone connections that were included, none would work with my LG cell phone.
