Giro Omen Snowsport Helmet

I measured and ordered based upon their sizing - it fits perfectly and is extremely comfortable with good padding, but it's lightweight. The white is very nice looking with one narrow zigzag pattern across it that has gold specks.

First let me say this, "The Best Helmet Fits Best"! Ok this has to be the best helmet that I have ever owned! Most helments (in warm weather) feel like you have a Hot Chicken Pot Pie strapped to your head. I skied with this helmet at temps in the high 70's F. and remained Cool! (note I took off the ear padding). The fit is simple to adjust by using the "Thumb Wheel". In a nut shell two thumbs up on this helmet! P.S. I have even used this helmet when running gates.

I am a novice snowboarder and this was a perfect buy for multiple impacting on compacted snow. Cool for protection and very light in weight, I hardly noticed I had it on until it the end of the day.

This is a peice of equipment thta has to be worn for a bit before I can judge it. I am still on the fence

This replaced my Giro Fuse. Size is the same, plus has added switch vents for front and back. The adjustable thumb wheel is terrific to give added snuggness. It is really a five star but I knocked it down to a four star due to the fact that it is just slightly heavier than my Fuse.

I use it downhilll skiing. It's comfy and warm. Nice padding. I feel a bit too conspicuous and huge headed as it's bright white and would probably buy a more subdued color in the future.

Ski the blue runs. Keeps head cool or warm depending how you open or close the front and back vents. Will have to buy new googles that are helmet friendly.
