No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Considering that the Giro goggles were supposed to fit with my Giro Fuse helmet - I was disappointed. The fit was uncomfortable, and the peripheral vision wasn't all that, either. I'm sticking with my Smith I/O, thanks. They fit better with the Giro Fuse helmet than the Giro goggles, and have vastly superior peripheral vision.

Functioned very well, with absolutely no fogging whatsoever, in heavy snow conditions, seven hours a day, for three days in Big Sky, Montana at about 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

Haven't used them yet. They were too small for me so I gave them to my 12 year old, who they just fit. She said they were about the same as her youth goggles. Padding around the face was also pretty stiff.

I needed goggles that had a good field of vision. I forgot I had them on, on a grey, snowy, windy day. They stayed clear. I recommend them.

Never actually took it out onto the slopes. They feel really big on me, and your peripheral vision is very limited. I will probably end up returning them. Not very satisfied at all. This is the drawback of trying to order online, you can't know how they will fit and feel.

These are great goggles, but the didn't arrive in pristine condition. When I opened the package and inspected the goggles, I found a cluster of very small scratches on the lens in front of the left eye. They don't affect the way I see with the goggles (I'm blind in my left eye), but it was disappointing to receive an item that wasn't as advertised. Because my depth perception is limited, I am very pleased with the ability of these goggles to increase the level of contrast I see on the snow. The rose lens is a big step up from my old goggles with yellow lenses. Also, the goggles fog up a bit in the corners, but so far, haven't completely fogged up.
