“Strange Fit”

“While the helmet seemed well made and up to the usual standards for a Giro product, I found the fit to be completely odd. I usually wear a size small (Giro's 'youth' size fits almost perfectly, just a tiny bit too snug) so I wasn't expecting the goofy 'bowl-cut' fit of this helmet. It fit well in circumference but was much too short in the crown; there was easily an inch of space between the tops of my ears and the bottom of the helmet. The fit might be fine for someone more petite proportionally (I'm 5'6"), but I needed to return it. Fit aside, it's a really nice looking, understated helmet without a lot of graphics and other hoo-ha (I ordered it in black.) Yes, I would recommend this to a friend... if that friend had an unusually tiny head.”
