“In the Pacific NW, we need protection from the cold and wet during the cool months. (I've used it down to high-20s. Hands would probably get cold if outside temp were much lower.) This glove is just enough protection to keep your hands working while leaving enough mobility to actually fish. You can find thicker, warmer gloves but you end up taking them off all the time when you have to do anything (like cast). The fold-back tips of the thumb and pointer finger on the Glacier Glove work pretty well for casting and stripping.”
