“Using these when I hike in woods in cold weather on trail that requires grabbing trees, rocks, etc. Grips well and is waterproof except for finger access slits, but don't keep my hands as warm as I need. When I tried to use silk liners, the velcro wrist strap damaged the liners. I also scratched myself several times on the small velcro patches meant to hold the thumb and index finger in open position, so I removed them - they're really not needed.”
