Wanted nice fishing gloves for my son

Excellent value and usefulness.

well made, they should work well for my purpose.

Kept hands warm. Slits very helpful to use fingers in tying knots, etc. Only con for me....fly line does not easily slide through glove. Sticks d/t outter gripper material.

Do lots of ice fishing and these gloves are excellent!

I got these to keep my hands toasty while holding an aluminum-shaft kayak paddle in cold weather. The gloves are very comfortable, flexible and warm! The only thing left to see is how long they last under this kind of abuse. Maybe if I pad the palms a little... Since I'm not folding the fingers back, I may snip off the little velcro patches. They just stick to my gear & clothes.

Using these when I hike in woods in cold weather on trail that requires grabbing trees, rocks, etc. Grips well and is waterproof except for finger access slits, but don't keep my hands as warm as I need. When I tried to use silk liners, the velcro wrist strap damaged the liners. I also scratched myself several times on the small velcro patches meant to hold the thumb and index finger in open position, so I removed them - they're really not needed.

Other Glacier Gloves I bought elsewhere a year ago are great for coldweather fishing. These are sized smaller and are less comfortable b/c of seam across knuckles.

Wore these on several kayak fishing trips in 30o weather and they were perfect. Kept my hands warm and when I needed to tie a knot I could slip my fingers out to make it very easy. Its a great price.

Fit okay, looks like a prototype rather than a finished product.
