These are decent gloves for the price but if you use them for fly fishing the stripping fingers could be a bit longer.

Bought these a couple of years ago for a trip to Costa Rica. The first pair has been all over the world. Always nice to have an extra pair to lend to other fishermen at resorts (although tough to get back) or to leave a pair with guides as a gift.

I purchased these to replace a similar pair by same manufacturer and was disappointed with the material used in the palms-old pair were leather, these are synthetic

These gloves are so comfortable to wear that I always buy extras so I have pairs when a pair wears out. They just do a great job of keeping the sun off the back of my hands while feeling like I am not wearing them.

Good sun protection but you will need to buy a pair every 2 to 3 months. The seams and the material do not hold against daily use.

I ordered these for both fishing and hiking, for sun wear, on the suggestions from a friend who wears them religiously in the desert southwest. I have not had the chance to use them for that purpose yet, but expect them to perform quite well in that role. Slathering sunscreens on is a general practice for me, but I like to have my hands less greasy when handling my cameras and lenses. These sun gloves should allow that quite well and still protect the back of my hands. These seem to fit well, just slightly on the large size but certainly not sloppy. The cotton back and artifical leather palms look to be well constructed.

Good sun protection and may save your fingers from nasty cuts if line gets stripped by the big one.
