“There is a velcro tab that you put thru the back band of your baseball cap to secure to your hat. Then a velcro strap goes around your hat brim and secures. If you have a full, thick head of hair, you can just strap around your temples,above the eye brows and temples. I plan to try it on my bicycle helmet. Coverage extends to the full neck, both ears, and to both cheeks, below your eyes. Since I am being treated for skin cancer, covering my skin is now a necessity. I really like this product.”
