My son attached the sun shade to his favorite ball cap the day the shade arrived in the mail. He has very fair skin and the sun shade helps protect him when he is outside all day!

When I'm out in the sailboat to keep the sun off my neck. When riding the bikes to keep sun off neck. It's removeable if you're in the shade you can take it off. It blocks a little breeze if the air is real light.

I bought this product for sun protection while fly fishing. It's not going to make you feel "cool" while wearing it, but it gets the job done.

This actually fits around my riding helmet and gives my neck and ears more shade. I'm a redhead with fair skin that likes to ride 8-12 hours at a time in the Arizona sun.

I use it turned to the side to protect my cheek and neck when driving with the sun coming through the window of my car. works really well.

Seems to be tight when worn around a hat. Probably would be uncomfortable if worn with a hat. Serves the purpose.

I've worn this with my hardhat for three summers. When it get's hot, everyone wants one. They're so popular for roofing, construction, and demolition that I've ordered 50 this year for our crews. Velcro at the back fits around standard hardhat suspension. For a hardhat with dial type headband adjustment, the shade is long enought to fit over it and still cover your neck even when looking down. Better than commercial hardhat add ons. Works well over the crown of a ballcap tool.

It's a predictable item... I purchased two of them. It increases heat, but it protects from the sun, which is what it is for. I'll take it on vacations and carry it in my backpack in the event I need it. It is a well-made product and packable.
