    Since most of my fishing is at altitudes over 9000 ft I was getting bad sunburns on my hands. These gloves fit well, are light and keep the sun off my hands. After a few dips they dry quickly and last at least a full season. If you don't lose them or give them to frieinds.

    I love these gloves. I think they are better suited to keep the sun from frying your hands but they will be ok for stripping too. I am taking them to National Jamboree so they'll get a real workout!

    I bought these for a saltwater flats fishing trip for sun protection. As other reviewers have commented, the fingers are too long. I cut them back and used pliabond to keep the fabric from fraying. This is an ok fix. But as another reviewer commented, the fabric is fairly heavy and lacks some flexibility. When I tried to use these for winter freshwater flyfishing they were too awkward. So I recommend these, but with these caveats.

    this is a nice pair of gloves. i have broad palms and short fingers, so the index finger is a bit too long for me (bought mediums); i probably could have used a small but that size wasn't available. i usually wear a womens 7 1/2-8 size glove. they are a bit loose but comfortable. i can easily short the index finger to fit. all in all, a nice glove.
