Glacier Glove

I purchased these gloves to protect my hands and wrists from the sun while driving. The longer length is great to help cover the exposed part of your wrist that even long sleeves don't always cover. The seams chafe a bit, I find that wearing the gloves inside-out is more comfortable.

Great sun protection

I am not a fisherman...I use these April to November to protect my hands from more age spots! I agree with the other reviewer...I like last year's design with the suedelike fabric on the palms better. These gloves kind of slip on my steering wheel. However, they are well made and a terrific price and will wear well. I like the coverage up over the wrist. I am wearing them every day.

I hike and do some outdoor photography. Since my hands are old enough to get age spots, these gloves make good protection. So light and comfortable I almost forget I'm wearing them.

These were size S/M and too large for my small hands. I liked the discreet grey color and would have kept for sun protection if they had fit.

The size chart is not very accurate. I ordered the small/medium, but the are still large on my hands.

My husband has used these gloves for backpacking to protect his hands from the sun. I walk dogs at a local animal shelter and thought they would be perfect for me since I wash my hands often and reapplying sunblock is hard to do. I also hike so plan to use them then. My only problem is that the unisex S/M is a bit too big. Not a big problem.

Great brand, I own like 4 pairs from previous years and 1 pr. of thisyears. One pair from before had a strange event where the palm grippy material deteriorated into a giant web- think fake cobwebs at halloween type thing. Quite odd, I called the Glacier Glove co. and they replaced them after I sent pics for investigative purposes! Excellent customer service they said the material had been upgraded on new styles and indeed was true, just wish these sold here had a palm other than smooth but still LOVE em and don't leave home w/out a pair usually.

I use these while flyfishing in a float tube. They are so light weight you don't really know they're on your hands. The material drys very quickly. The stitching around the fingers tends to unravel but I just clip the dangling threads off. This is my second pair.

For handling fish, pulling an anchor line and general use while fishing and boating, these are great! The long cuff prevents water from getting in as you reach into water deeper than a teacup, and they provide good grip
