The patented Quallofil® seven-hole fibers hold more air, so the insulation is light, remains warm when wet and has superior drying power. For those with allergies to but still want the feel of down, Quallofil® is a synthetic second choice.
  • Quilting is a type of fabric construction in which a layer of down or synthetic is placed between two layers of fabric, and held in place by stitching or sealing in a regular, consistent pattern such as squares or tubes. By holding insulation in place, quilting reduces cold spots and drafts.
  • Qwik-Dri® EC2® is a Thermasilk® product. Qwik-Dri® EC2® technology is used in moisture-wicking apparel featuring an electrostatic method of drawing perspiration away so the wearer does not become cold. The technology is often used in cold-weather clothing such as head and hand coverings and base layers of snow sport apparel.
