Gloverall English Wool Pea Coat (For Men)

This coat is very roomy, thus layerable, which is what we needed. The sleeves are on the short side, which is also what we needed. This coat is good for late fall or early spring weather in Boston, which is what we needed. Great coat for us.

Disappointing. The fit was horrible. I pre-read other reviews, learned what others had said and ordered accordingly. Still, the coat came in with sleeves way to short and a body fit way to big. I'm a slim guy so I ordered a smaller size and it was still too big! The coat was also lighter than expected.

Great coat, I needed something that was dressy enough to go out to dinner, but not overly so. Looks great on and was at a great price.

Nice coat, but order a size up. Sleeves were at least 4" too short of me. I do sometimes wear "tall" but that usually only adds a couple of inches.

I wanted a short top coat to wear over suit coat,and be comfortable to wear while driving. It's dressy enough to wear to work at the Courts

Great product - extremely well made. Much higher quality than similar coats made in China. This is the type of coat that you'll be happy to keep for ever as opposed to the more 'disposable' far east versions. Gloverall products are great and confirm the old addage " You get what you pay for" except that in this case, it was a bargain! I did notice that the wool in my recent coat was thinner that in a coat I bought several years ago by the same brand. Don't know if it is lower quality - just an observation.

I was looking for a versatile, lightweight car-length coat I could wear over a suit or with jeans. This is it. Great fit for me, flattering style yet not the usual pea coat. Warm, but lightweight. Very high quality inside and out with classic functionality. It would be perfect if it had a few more inside pockets for papers, cell phones, metro tickets, etc. I wear it as an in-between overcoat and sport jacket on days when clients meetings are casual. Easy to button, durable fabric exterior and nice lining. A real value.

Bought this coat for my husband so that he had an alternative to ski jackets. The coat runs large (discovered this in your comments) so we ordered 2 sized smaller than normal and the coat fits well. The lining feels sticky however. Perhaps it was put in inside out. The coat however is a great buy so we'll live with the sticky lining.
