    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Sizing needs adjustability or expandability; my hat size was "large" by STP's chart, but, for me, product's large was 1/2 size too big and medium was 1/2 size too small. This German manufacturer may need lessons in (American) baseball cap design; this cap sits too high on the head. (even after allowing for size issue above). The materials and construction were excellent and I loved the fold-in ear flaps.

    Originally ordered a large, too big, got a medium and it fits perfect. Hat designed to wear with ear covers...as it does not fit snug with them folded up into the hat. Perhaps a little elastic sizer could be added so it can be worn as just a ball cap.
