No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“Please note that this jacket IS NOT Golden Bear - the 'Golden Bear' tag has been glued on top of a Crockett & Jones sewn-in tag (the actual make and brand). While C&J produce a quality product, theirs is most certainly not up to the GB standard, and also known to wear much larger than advertised.
As a slim fellow, this jacket will only be useful as an emergency item for airplane fashion...best used as a last minute gift for an overweight unfashionable friend (but then again, the poor stitching makes me worry any overweight wearer may burst the seams).
I'm only keeping it because with a triple sale price, the 'dubiously suedesque' material will make a good source for a throw pillow.”
