Golden Bear Satin Back Suede Vest (For Men)

This is a very nice vest. The leather is light weight and is very comfortable to wear. It can be worn with a jacket or alone, as I will wear it most of the time. I am a vest kind of guy and this one will see plenty of use.

This is a beautiful vest. As with any fine suede, it should be treated with a protectant to avoid stains, and to avoid the shedding of suede particles on some shirt-materials. The fit is snug, but not tight. It is true to size, and is very elegant when worn with shirt-and-tie and a sportcoat with leather elbow patches. It is also a nice casual vest with sportshirt and jeans when left unbuttoned. Lots of compliments thusfar.

I use the vest with sportcoat; also as casual dress with shirt-and-tie. Also good for light casual wear.Vest is too fragile for rough-casual wear. Biggest problem is that suede particles come off on shirt sleeves. I returned the first vest, but the second one also sheds, but not as bad. I'm considering keeping the second one shipped, but am not sure. It is sad. Nicest vest I've ever bought. I'm disappointed that the vests may all be dried out [...] JEV

This vest is so good that I bought 3 (Amber/Camel/Acorn)! I wear it to the office and when going out. The color and texture are wonderful and the sizing fits pretty much right on. Most L sizes by other companies (Express) fit a little larger, but this Golden Bear vest fits perfectly. There really aren't any cons to the vest.

You won't go wrong with this vest! It reminds me of the classic J. Peterman vests, but at half the price. Enjoy...
