This is a very nice car coat, but you really need to know what you are getting into. These coats are sold at some of the finer leather stores around the country, including resort towns, and there is a reason why. This coat has a wonderfully soft feel, and the cut is right on. However, it is very thin. If that is what you are looking for, you'll be thrilled. If you're like me, and are looking for something more substantial, you'll be disappointed. For instance, the Thinsulate is a 40g weight. Even the Thinsulate tag on the jacket states that 40g weight is meant for hats, gloves, and accessories. It becomes relevant when you think that some winter boots have 400g weight Thinsulate! It fits more like a heavy, insulated work shirt, than a coat. Just go into this eyes wide open. Oh, I ordered the Large Tall, which, had this been thicker, would have been perfect. It definitely fell below my waist, and the arm length was about an inch longer, which all made for good coverage. I usually wear a 44L if that helps any.
