For the price it cannot be beat. Had to take up the sleeves a bit but otherwise fantastic.

This is a wonderful product; the fabric and workmanship are very high quality. My husband is a big man, so I purchase Golden Bear products in a size larger than he normally wears, and they work fine. He wears high end clothing, and this product line fits the bill. It's the second Golden Bear product I have purchased for him.

First of all, it says right there in the item desription that it is only insulated with 40 grams of Thinsulate and that it is intended for Fall. So don't expect a heavy overcoat for the heavy storms. What is this good for? Layering.You can layer your clothing accordingly for warmth and this coat will make an excellent light weight barrier against the wind. Due to it's light weight, this is a year-round coat that you can also wear on breezy Summer nights. I like the fact that it's not heavy & bulky, and that you don't need to shed it once indoors. The Golden Bear is a company that has been in business here in San Francisco for almost 100 years. In that short amount of time, they have clothed several generations of my family. These garments are made to last. My first piece from them came as a "hand me down". I still have it. I now have garments that are over 20 years old, that I can't fit anymore, and those are in excellent condition for me to hand down to the next generation. This coat is best for warm climates, however I live in the Midwest. I sent it back for that reason.

The coat is not bad, but not great. The price I got it for was good [...] I'll wear it. It was a little thinner than I expected.

Unlike my other Golden Bear jacket which was made of high quality leather and construction, this jacket appeared to have much lower quality materials and construction.

It was a Christmas gift for my husband. He loves it.

Very high quality leather, buttery soft. Needs to be worn with a jacket or heavy sweater underneath and more for Autumn than Winter but very elegant. Several people have remarked on it.

Great looking coat, very soft to the touch, what a buy!!
