We ordered the boots in 13M for my fiance. He has somewhat wide feet, but not wide enough to usually necessitate a wide shoe size. With these boots, he would definitely need a wide. Unfortunately, they don't have his size in wide, so they're going back. It's too bad, because they look like warm, sturdy boots that would be great for winter construction work.

Had to return the first pair for a bigger size. Both the width and the length run small. Cost me about $9.00 in shipping extra to get the correct size. However, the boot is well made and warm. Good for hiking out in the snow.

Comfortable, Let's your feet breath, Warm, Waterproof
Cons:
Need stronger shoestrings
Best Uses:
General work in the cold, Hiking
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I chose this boot based on the fantastic price and that it was advertised as waterproof. Happy that I chose this one.
I ordered 1 whole size up because they did not offer 1/2 sizes, which was good. 1/2 size probably would not have worked with my sock liner and "thick" wool socks I use here in Afghanistan.
So far they prove they breath yet keep my feet warm.
It has yet to rain enough here to fully test the waterproofing, but so far they are doing fine.
The only problem I had was with the insert. When I first tried the boot the insert was causing discomfort. The sides of the insert are really thin and flimsy and had a small defect causing the sides to poke into my feet. I went ahead and stuck with them to see if it would work itself out and it did. After wearing them for about an hour the inserts formed around my feet and now feel comfortable.
Another thing I observed was the shoestrings. Although they have not broken, they seem a little too thin for this boot. It needs some that are a bit more stronger (thicker).
