I don't like wearing anything around my shoulders/back when I run, so I've worn a variety of hydration belts - the ones with a number of small 6 oz bottles on them. To me its a comfort thing, and it just doesnt feel right to wear a hydration pack. So, I've been wanting something a bit larger for my fluids, but that would also hold a camera and a wind/rain jacket while on long distance trail runs. This thing is perfect. The suspension is outstanding, and for the amount of weight I have put in it, it barely bounces around while running over rough terrain. My only complaint about it, is that you have to loosen the outer suspension, the part that really snugs the bottles and pouch into the belt, to easily put the bottles back in place. This isn't an issue if you are casually walking, but if your running and don't want to break stride for a drink, this can be a little annoying at first. I've gotten used to doing it, and I certainly wouldn't trade a different suspension system for having bottles that flopped around, so its more of something to point out, rather than a flaw of the product. The thing is pretty durable, I've slid down some scree slopes, and it handles abrasion just fine, and its been through the washing machine a number of times with no issues. I've probably logged 200+ miles with it so far, both on and off trail, and it still looks new aside from a few mud stains. Per usual, GoLite has made a great product.
