GoLite Lite-Speed Daypack - Internal Frame (For Women)

Use for overnighters/weekend hiking/camping. Carry-on size so can be used for travel up to a week if you can get to a laundry. Very comfortable.

This is meant to be my only carry on bag AND back pack On planes, plains or plain old mountains. it distributes weight well if you are dedicated to ultra-lite travel. Not big enough for mountaineering but can hold everything else I need it to.

Purchased just before vacation for day hikes with the family in the Snowy Range & Rocky Mtn NP. It was very comfortable & easily adjustable, my 16 y/o daughter & I took turns wearing it. Used to carry water, food & jackets, etc. for 4 people. The waist pocket offered easy access to my camera & I kept the map & snacks in the big exterior stow pocket so the kids/hubby could reach in & get what they needed w/o having to unzip. I had a lot of excess capacity on a solo day hike but it cinched down nicely. I would recommend it for family day hikes or minimalist weekend hikes. A great multipurpose pack.

I took this as a daypack to grand canyon. I could have packed in a lot more than I was willing to carry. Too big for dayhikes. This pack could have been the main backpack.

I bought this pack to take on 2-3 day trips, via road or plane. I love the light wieght and the durability, it also has several small pockets and compartments for stashing. There's also a pretty big exterior pocket for easy access.

We purchased this pack for easy camping, but it is light and comfortable enough for use as a very well engineered day pack.

Great pack for day-long hikes. You could probably use it for overnighters, but I don't do those. Nice clean design. It has what you need without a lot of needless straps, pockets, clips, etc. that make finding your stuff a nightmare and leave you wondering "what in the world is THAT for???" It's lightweight, balances the load properly and dosen't dig in uncomfortably anywhere. I particularly like the belt pockets - perfect for your electronics - GPS, phone and/or camera - or anything else you want to be able to get to without taking the pack off. The large outer pocket holds the jacket you dump when the weather warms during the day, snack & map. The bottle pockets are good for those of us who shun "hydration" packs and still carry a water bottle. I am pretty picky about my packs, and I really love this one!

Much nicer than most packs that already weigh 10 lbs EMPTY!
