GoLite Neve Jacket - Waterproof Soft Shell (For Women)

THis is a top quality product, blocks the wind for events above 35 degrees. True to size, maybe a bit small, so if you want to wear something under it, order the next size up.

Needed something really waterproof for long periods outdoors and some athletic activities. When the coat arrived I found it to be heavier than I expected and the fit does not flatter. It is out of a neoprene-like material and there are two zippers across the chest for ventilation. These bulge out and aren't very flattering. I find myself having to sort of push the fabric down and tuck it under my arms...will be returning this and looking for something else.

I purchased this jacket for my daughter to wear on a school trip to Eastern Europe. It looks like it will be perfect! She wanted something lightweight and waterproof that was versatile enough to accommodate the changing weather. She has given it a test drive around town - Boston, and it is performing just as she had hoped it would. It is not too hot or cold, breathable, and water tight! I can see where the other customers might have thought it too tight. She is 5"8" and a thin build. She has long arms and the sleeves were just the right length. Very happy with this purchase!

Very pleased with this softshell, lightweight and warm! It is very true to size.

After about a year, the zipper is failing. The waterproof cover is getting chewed by the zipper teeth and the jacket barely zips. In other respects, the jacket has stood up well to rain, wind, and snow. It's abrasion-resistant, and I put it through rough use. I like the fit and fabric. I got a S and I am 5'5 115 and I can layer under it. I think it stretches fine. I use it hiking/snowshoeing, climbing approaches, have tried it running (it's ok,) but mostly I wear it when it's windy outside.

LOVE the color. (the marishino is red.) it's a bit stiff and the neck kind of jabs my chin. BUT, i am hoping wearing it more will break it in. very cute and it is warm.

I got this jacket about two months ago and couldn't be happier. I got the absinthe color and have received continuous compliments! More importantly, it's perfect for temperamental Midwest weather due to its resistance to wind and precipitation. Great buy, I absolutely recommend it.

I felt like I was in salami casing when I tried on this jacket. I got my regular size--medium; the fit is long and tight. The pit zips are not easy to use, the zipper and the cuff pulls are made of a very stiff material. Though the jacket looks to be wind and waterproof--which is JUST what I am looking for, it's going back because it's just uncomfortable.

My husband bought this jacket for me last year. I had a lot of trouble finding one that fit me but this jacket was perfect. I can see why it gets some bad reviews for fit-I am about 6 feet tall and around 140 lbs. In this jacket I wear a medium so that I am able to wear a vest or something else underneath. The sleeves are long enough for me which is amazing, and the length of the coat is great. I could see why other reviewers, especially petite ones may not find it to be a great fit. It is made for taller, leaner folk. The jacket is a slim fit but is very flattering. As for performance it does an amazing job, blocks the wind and is waterproof. I used it for snowshoeing and hiking and everyday dog walks. Love this coat but definitely can see why the fit is not for everyone!

I haven't had this jacket very long, but it is perfect on colder, rainy days. It keeps me dry and warm and isn't huge and bulky like my snowboarding jacket is. It also looks really good and stylish on too. Love it!
